Their Hide Ain't The Only Thing Tough About Them

Seems the crocodile immune system's just as aggressive as the animal itself, "attach[ing] to bacteria and tear[ing] it apart [until] it explodes." Researchers hope to create antibiotics for humans based on crocodile antibodies, but they may actually be too powerful for the human body to take, so some "processing" may be necessary. It's all rather exciting, since their immune system kills penicillin-resistant staph and the HIV virus.
