I believe I may be the only one in the world who is tickled every time someone calls a dog a "son of a bitch." I mean, they ARE! It's not an insult to them (if they had the cognitive ability to understand the concept of "insult"); it's just a simple statement of fact. I love to point this out, usually with the wide grin of a lunatic pedant. I'm a very, very disturbed individual...
(And I just happened to stumble over the fact that I already talked about this about three years ago. Whoops!)
