Ladies?

It just occured to me in a flash earlier this evening that my readership seems to be overwhelmingly male. (I can only judge from comments, though, which, truthfully, isn't really that accurate a rubric, but it's all I got.) I'm somewhat concerned about this. Is this blog somehow female unfriendly? I don't want it to be. I love women! (Just not that way.) Is it just that my traffic is heavily skewed towards gay males due to my linking patterns or is there something I'm doing without realizing it that may be turning women off? Where are you, ladies, and why don't you love me?

**sigh** Has it come to this? Well, if it must be, then I know a bar where you can find women.
But are you sure?

Oh, Bigg, I ain't switchin' teams! As I said, I love women, just not THAT way!

Then trust me and just wait. When a woman's boyfriend/husband/love interest pisses her off, there's nobody she likes to vent to better than one of us.

Do you read and/or comment on women's blogs?

I don't really comment on blogs but am astounded that there have been no female responses. As such, I've broken my rule just so you know there is at least one woman out there that enjoys your blog. (How could I not with all of the book lust you have here?)

I will even go as far as saying that, minus the gay thing, you'd be an ideal guy.

Signed,
Enjoy your blog even though I am neither gay nor an owner of a Y chromosome

THANK YOU, EYBETIANGNAOOAYC! It's always nice to be told how wonderful you are! *LOL*

She should be named 'Madame X', like the mystery woman of Sargent's infamous masterpiece!

Yes, Gunn, thank you. "Madame X" trips off the keyboard MUCH more easily than "EYBETIANGNAOOAYC." *hehehehe*

Hi, it's EYBETIANGNAOOAYC again.

I sympathize that EYBETIANGNAOOAYC doesn't roll off the tongue like Madame X. However, since reading a book about the real Mme X and the painting, I'd prefer to stay away from that name since she seemed like a vapid ho-bag.

Perhaps Madame XX is a fair compromise?

Madame XX it is! And, please, feel free to come and comment any time. I know you said you don't comment on blogs, but I just want you to know you're welcome here.

Hey, Frank, I'll get some of my lady friends to stop by and comment. Hope all is well otherwise.
