Looking For A Word

Does anyone know a word that means something like "the quality of beauty in a poem or a piece of prose" or "the sheer beauty of the way the words are put together in a piece of writing"? I think there is such a word, but I can't for the life of me think of what it is. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you maybe talking about "the sublime?"

I think I'm thinking of more of a "literary term" like assonance or pathetic fallacy or something. But maybe I'm just crazy. Thanks, guys!

Poetic aesthetics?

That is a use of the term poetry iself, or to be poetic. We might say that a passage in a work of fiction is poetry. Or, what you said was so poetic.

Read this essay by William Hazlitt: "On Gusto"

Hmm, I put out a Dave Lull alert yesterday when I saw your question but he hasn't come in.
Also I posted a Frank Wilson alert and I noted he put the question on Books, Inq. Have not checked out his comments yet.
I still can't think of it.
