Milk siblings are nothing new in Russia. Which is great for them and all. And wet nurses have been around for just about ever. Again, fine, whatever. It's still creepy to read about it!!!!
I remember a few years ago, reading about Alexander Neckam and how he was the 'milk brother' of Richard I of England. I was puzzled for ages about what that might mean...and when I found out...:(
See, Alianore, the thought of it in medieval times doesn't mother me at all. The thought of it TODAY, however, skeeves me right out. Maybe I'm just closed-minded.
