I got him as well. He was an eccentric character in San Francisco back when SF was the only real city in the western US. There is a very tasty brand of croutons made from spiced sour dough rounds from San Francisco that bear his name. I am not sure if you can find them outside of California, however.
Sorry, GayProf, Versailles wasn't built until Louis XIV, a few hundred years after Charles VI. I'm actually not sure what his palace would have been. A quick Google search doesn't turn up anything.

I got Joshua Abraham Norton, too! :) Shame I've never heard of him...

Somehow, the fact that he's a brand of croutons seems very appropriate.

Possibly the Louvre, which was a fortified royal palace in the Middle Ages, or the Hotel St Pol. Or Vincennes, just to the east of Paris.
Charles VI apparently spent a lot of his time thinking he was made of glass, and forbidding his attendants to touch him, or he'd shatter.
Thanks, Alianore! You know, it was actually bothering me a little. It's always handy to have a medievalist about! *LOL*
I'm Nikola Tesla (though the quiz spelt it "Nicola" haha). So ... deathray anyone? I've got a crater on the moon named after me! Wicked.
I am also the crazy French king. I am imagining my reign to resemble the France depicted in Ken Russel's (perhaps slightly fanciful) 'The Devils'.
