I don't know how I'd react to this creepy-crawlie. On the one hand, it's big and scary-looking; on the other, I'm quite fascinated by myriopods. Oh, who am I kidding? I'd scream like the nelly queen I am and have my mother kill it! *LOL*
I saw the first tarantula of the season yesterday. I hear they will soon be comming out in large numbers here. It is a good thing too, they eat bugs. The number of insects seems to be way down the last two days.
See, this is why I need a snake--to eat all the things around us that have more than 4 legs.
Speaking of pets, my brother got another dog yesterday! He's a brown boston terrior, but I don't know his name yet. I'm fighting for either "Montag" or "Gus," but only because that's what I'd name my dog, if I had one, lol. You have to admit, Ruthie and Gus-Gus (or Monty!) are very appropriate together.
Christ. He'll probably name the poor thing Yankee.
