I love hibiscus flowers; they're pretty and they bring back very nice memories of childhood visits to my Mom Mom's in Florida. Every morning when I was there, we would go outside and count how many blooms there were that day. Good times.
Anyway, dr. m of the wonderful kinesthesis breathrough posted a picture of a yellow hibiscus in his garden on Wednesday. This astounded and delighted me, because I thought hibiscus only came in the red/pink/salmon color family (that's the variety my Mom Mom had, anyway). I commented to the post, expressing my delight. Dr. m, a fine gentlemen, dedicated another hibiscus picture post (this time of a white flower, with a red center) specifically to little old moi in response! What a mensch!
Go read his blog; it's great. The buffalo nickel is a personal favorite.
