So I went to this going away party on Saturday. It was nice; there was a pool with cool water (essential, since it was one of the hottest days of the year) and a pinata and lots of fun stuff. I even won a poker game!
Unfortunately, the past two days have been consumed by the consequences of my night out. I have bites all over my legs and one arm. And I don't think they're regular mosquito bites, either: they're big, swollen, red, blotchy, itchy bites. The itchiness is driving me up a wall. I'm hopped up on Benadryl and hydrocortisone, but they still itch. Perhaps something good will come out of this and I'll develop superpowers. Until I start climbing up walls and fighting crime, however, I'll have to suffer. GAAAAAAAAAAH!
