For someone with the time and money, a tour of the top ten bookstores in America would be the ultimate bookworm road trip/vacation. I've been to The Strand, and it is definitely impressive. Maybe someday I'll round out the list. I'd really love to see Powell's in particular; any place where a color-coded map is necessary to get around sounds nifty.
