Mind you, it being the Telegraph they only pointed out one of the most minor flaws in 'Elizabeth' because so many of us Brits really want to believe that that was the way it really happened.

Oops. Horrible generalisation: the Welsh and Scots aren't as well disposed to Elizabeth I as the English, with relatively good reason.
