Welcome, readers of Scott McLemee and J. Otto Pohl! Both men were kind of enough to link to my site. Judging by the refferals, a number of you have found your way here from those links.
Scott McLemee might be familiar to long-time readers of this blog because I've linked to his wonderful Inside Higher Ed columns before. Out of the blue, he sent me an email to tell me he was linking to my post on that book art installation. Quite a thrill, really!
J. Otto Pohl is an incredibly erudite, articulate, and prolific history scholar specializing in (forgive me, Otto, if I'm incorrect) genocide. He has some fascinating posts about the history and persecution of Russian-Germans.
Again, thanks, guys! And, to anyone who comes here via either one of their sites, I hope you like it and stay awhile.

Thanks very much for the plug, Frank. I doubt that too many people made their way from my site. You are one of only a couple readers of the site. Genocide is one of the things I have written about. Although I really dislike the semantic arguments surrounding the term. I am willing to forgo the term now to avoid the definitional arguments which have consumed the field of Genocide Studies. Thanks again for the publicity.
