Well, it seems blogging has "jumped the shark." Damn! And I just got the new template up and all!
Meanwhile, "jumping the shark" officially jumps the shark. (Thank you, Mr. Brian Oberkirch! I've always hated that phrase.)

As a bitter, old fandom cow, I must say I hate the phrase "jumping the shark," even though the origin of it is kind of funny. Anyway, I've read so many BAD arguments about this show or that fad "jumping the shark" that it has lost all meaning.
Jumping the shark has totally, fucking jumped the shark, and thank god.
